Tin Pan Alley Steelband

We are around 15 musicians, who founded the band in 1977, in order to play typical caribbean dance music on oil barrels (steeldrums or pans).

As the first German Steelband the Tin Pan Alley Steelband has contributed to the knowledge of this music in Berlin and outside the city. Countless entrances at street parties, cultural events, business parties, summer parties, musical workshops, charity performances, at the Berlin marathon, private parties and last but not the least at the Berlin “Karnival der Kulturen” have shown, that our music generates happy dancing people.
